We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager – Italy to lead Líbere Hospitality’s growth and asset acquisition strategy in the Italian market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities with property owners, developers, investors, and local operators, positioning Líbere as a leading operator in the flex living / aparthotel sector in Italy. This person will act as a brand ambassador in the local market, building strong relationships with key players in the Italian real estate and hospitality ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and source assets with potential to operate under the Líbere model (aparthotels, flex living, PBSA) in major Italian cities such as Milan, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Naples, and other strategic locations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, institutional investors, family offices, and private banking stakeholders in Italy to generate a strong and sustainable pipeline of opportunities.
• Structure and negotiate management agreements, lease agreements, and other collaboration models with asset owners, in coordination with Líbere’s Finance and Legal teams.
• Analyze the Italian flexible accommodation market, demand trends, competitor activity (Joivy, Smart Rentals, Limehome, Bob W, NUMA, etc.), and positioning opportunities for Líbere.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to assess the feasibility of identified projects, contributing business insight during due diligence and investment analysis phases.
• Represent Líbere Hospitality at industry fairs, investment forums, and real estate and hospitality events in Italy (MIPIM, EXPO REAL, Hospitality Forum Italia, etc.).
• Prepare and present tailored commercial proposals for different stakeholders (private owners, institutional funds, private banking), clearly communicating the business model and expected returns.
• Regularly report to senior management on pipeline status, negotiation progress, and local market trends.
• Contribute to building Líbere’s brand presence in Italy, working closely with the Product and Communications teams.
